Privacy
Last updated 9 July 2026
Short version: your reading stays on your device. Tuvora has no user accounts and no analytics tracking you across the internet. The only thing we store on a server is the email address you give us to join the waitlist — so we can email you a beta invite.
The waitlist (this website)
When you enter your email to join the beta, it's sent to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider, and used only to send you Tuvora news and your beta invite. We don't sell or share it. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, which removes you from the list. See Kit's privacy policy for how they process it.
The Tuvora app
The app is built to keep your reading private. Specifically:
- No account, no sign-in. You don't create a profile to use Tuvora.
- Your library, progress, reading streak and stats live on your device only. We don't upload what you read, how fast you read, or how long you read.
- Books you import — a PDF, EPUB, Word file, pasted text — are processed on your device and stored on your device. They're never sent to us.
- Free classic books are downloaded directly from public libraries (Project Gutenberg and Wolne Lektury) when you choose to open one. Those requests go to those services, not to us.
- Web links you choose to read are fetched from the page you gave us so we can pull out the article text. That fetch goes to the site you named — we don't keep a copy on a server.
Children
Tuvora is a general-audience reading tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data we do not collect
No advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking, no selling of data. Tuvora is a reading tool — not a medical device or a treatment for any condition.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, note it to people on the waitlist.
